Expand your photography skills and learn new tips and tricks on this memorable day out with Ash taking in the sights of Portland.

Capture moments in time at The Foundations and marvel at the stunning painted silos, which stop visitors in their tracks as they gaze up at the men and women whose stories are woven into the fabric of the town.

  • Scenic Walks: Enjoy leisurely strolls through the picturesque streets of Portland, taking in the serene beauty and quaint atmosphere of the town.
  • This tour is perfect for those looking to experience a blend of art, culture, and local flavour in one of the most picturesque towns in the region.

Getting There: We’ll travel by bus from Johnny’s Place. Shuttle bus transport is available to and from Johnny’s Place.

What to Bring: A fully charged phone for taking photos (or a camera), comfortable shoes, drink bottle, and sunscreen.

Price includes lunch and snacks, other personal expenses are not included.

 

Pricing & Inclusions

  • The Participant price covers the cost of food/drinks as outlined in the activity description and any entry/activity costs.
  • The NDIS price includes support and return transport from Johnnys Place.
  • Bookings close one day before the activity unless sold out prior.
  • Please refer to our Cancellation Policy prior to booking.

Shuttles

Johnny H Nepean Shuttles will be available for this event, simply just choose your transport option when booking. Shuttle time and cost will be calculated according to your pick up / drop off point. The cost of the shuttle service is not included in the published predicted NDIS cost. More information about our shuttle service can be found here.

Please note:

* This event is designed for active participants with a mild to moderate intellectual or developmental disability.
* This event will be conducted in compliance with COVID safe practices and any vaccination requirements as outlined by the NSW Department of Health.
* Johnny H can only accept booking requests from those whose NDIS funds are Self or Plan Managed. If your plan is Agency Managed, please call 1300 053 001 to discuss your options.
* Funding will be calculated based on the final attendance numbers and the individual support required to increase the capacity of the individual making the booking to match the rest of the group.
* We predict and aim for a ratio of 1:3 for community-based activities and for those held inside Johnny’s Place, at the rate set out in the current NDIS price guide.
* Final ratios will fall between 1:2 and 1:5.
