VIVID 2024
Vivid Sydney is an annual celebration of creativity, innovation and technology, which transforms Sydney for 23 days and nights. In 2024, for its 14th year, Vivid Sydney will fuse art, innovation and technology in collaboration with some of the most boundary-pushing artists, musicians, thinkers and culinary experts of our time.

We need each other more than ever before. Facing an ever-changing world and times we don’t recognise, our search for meaning and purpose has taken on a new urgency. We only need to look inside ourselves to find who we are and what we are capable of. Look inside to find those things that make us human – love, kindness, compassion, creativity – humanity.
Humanity – human race, humankind, human nature.
Humanity is the key to our future, to discovering the answers that determine our way forward. To reimagining a world without boundaries, discrimination or inequality – a world full of people who work together, with kindness, empathy and creativity, with a shared tomorrow in mind.
Creativity and imagination are what makes us human. Helping us understand and respond to our world and value diversity – broadening our perspective and challenging our preconceptions. Human creativity allows us to develop technology, solve problems and produce innovative solutions.
Getting There: From Johnny’s Place we’ll travel by JH Bus into the city.
What to Bring: comfortable shoes, and a spirit of awe!
Price includes dinner and snacks, other personal expenses are not included.
Pricing & Inclusions
- The Participant price covers the cost of food/drinks as outlined in the activity description and any entry/activity costs.
- The NDIS price includes support and return transport from Johnnys Place.
- Bookings close one day before the activity unless sold out prior.
- Please refer to our Cancellation Policy prior to booking.
Shuttles
Johnny H Nepean Shuttles will be available for this event, simply just choose your transport option when booking. Shuttle time and cost will be calculated according to your pick up / drop off point. The cost of the shuttle service is not included in the published predicted NDIS cost. More information about our shuttle service can be found here.
Please note:
* This event is designed for active participants with a mild to moderate intellectual or developmental disability.
* This event will be conducted in compliance with COVID safe practices and any vaccination requirements as outlined by the NSW Department of Health.
* Johnny H can only accept booking requests from those whose NDIS funds are Self or Plan Managed. If your plan is Agency Managed, please call 1300 053 001 to discuss your options.
* Funding will be calculated based on the final attendance numbers and the individual support required to increase the capacity of the individual making the booking to match the rest of the group.
* We predict and aim for a ratio of 1:3 for community-based activities and for those held inside Johnny’s Place, at the rate set out in the current NDIS price guide.
* Final ratios will fall between 1:2 and 1:5.
