GLOW at Sydney Zoo is set to dazzle once again after two consecutive sell-out years, returning even bigger and more spectacular. Immerse yourself in a night of enchantment with interactive light walks, unique animal encounters, and a variety of entertainment options.

The Lowdown

GLOW at Sydney Zoo is set to dazzle once again after two consecutive sell-out years, returning even bigger and more spectacular.

This year’s event features the largest and most dynamic array of attractions yet, including new installations and returning favourites.

Immerse yourself in a night of enchantment with interactive light walks, unique animal encounters, and a variety of entertainment options.

  • Event Highlights:New Installations: Experience the thrill of new, never-before-seen light installations that push the boundaries of creativity and technology.
  • Interactive Light Walk: Journey through a reimagined light walk where interactive elements bring the experience to life around you.
  • Iconic GLOW Lion Lantern: Don’t miss the spectacular GLOW Lion Lantern, a returning favorite that continues to capture the hearts of visitors.
  • KIIS Eye Ferris Wheel: Enjoy breathtaking views from the magical KIIS Eye Ferris Wheel, lighting up the night sky.
  • Glowy Golf: Challenge friends and family to a round of Glowy Golf, a fun and luminous take on miniature golf.
  • Vortex Tunnel: Prepare to be amazed by the mind-blowing Vortex Tunnel, an experience that will twist your perception of reality.
  • Aquarium After-Dark: Explore the aquarium in a new light, encountering hundreds of marine creatures in a mysterious nocturnal environment.
  • World’s Largest Reptile and Nocturnal House: Visit the world’s largest reptile and nocturnal house for up-close encounters with fascinating nocturnal critters.
  • Food Trucks and GLOW Bar: Savour delicious eats from a variety of food trucks and enjoy specialty drinks at the GLOW Bar.
  • Amusement Rides: Round out the night with fun rides that add an extra dose of excitement to your zoo visit.

Getting There: We’ll travel by bus from Johnny’s Place.

Dress Code: Warm clothing, enclosed shoes and good vibes.

Price includes lunch and snacks, other personal expenses are not included.

 

 

Pricing & Inclusions

  • The Participant price covers the cost of food/drinks as outlined in the activity description and any entry/activity costs.
  • The NDIS price includes support and return transport from Johnnys Place.
  • Bookings close one day before the activity unless sold out prior.
  • Please refer to our Cancellation Policy prior to booking.

Restricted Ticket Policy

  • When booking you will be issued an invoice for the client contribution.
  • This invoice must be paid in full within 2 working days or your booking request will be cancelled.
  • We will only purchase tickets for the number of clients that have paid.
  • This means these events will only be live on our website for a day or two to ensure that we’re physically able to get enough tickets for the clients wishing to attend.
  • Order cancellation requests will be processed as usual for those needing to cancel, HOWEVER, we WILL NOT issue a credit until the ticket is sold to another client minus any costs incurred in us moving the ticket to another client (for example MOSHtix charge a $12.50 re-issuing fee where tickets require a different name on them).

Shuttles

Johnny H Nepean Shuttles will be available for this event, simply just choose your transport option when booking. Shuttle time and cost will be calculated according to your pick up / drop off point. The cost of the shuttle service is not included in the published predicted NDIS cost. More information about our shuttle service can be found here.

Please note:

* This event is designed for active participants with a mild to moderate intellectual or developmental disability.
* This event will be conducted in compliance with COVID safe practices and any vaccination requirements as outlined by the NSW Department of Health.
* Johnny H can only accept booking requests from those whose NDIS funds are Self or Plan Managed. If your plan is Agency Managed, please call 1300 053 001 to discuss your options.
* Funding will be calculated based on the final attendance numbers and the individual support required to increase the capacity of the individual making the booking to match the rest of the group.
* We predict and aim for a ratio of 1:3 for community-based activities and for those held inside Johnny’s Place, at the rate set out in the current NDIS price guide.
* Final ratios will fall between 1:2 and 1:5.
