The holiday season is a time for joy, togetherness, and creative expression, and what better way to embrace it than by decorating your very own Christmas cake! Join us for a Christmas Cake Decorating Session that will unleash your inner artist and add a delicious touch of holiday magic to your celebrations.
What Awaits You:
1. Blank Canvas, Endless Possibilities: Each participant will receive a freshly baked, beautifully crafted Christmas cake to serve as their canvas. It’s the perfect foundation to bring your artistic visions to life.
2. Decorating Essentials: Our expert bakers and decorators will provide guidance and a wide array of icing, fondant, edible decorations, and tools to spark your imagination.
3. Inspiration and Techniques: We’ll share handy tips and techniques for creating intricate designs, from traditional holly leaves to snowflakes and beyond. You’re free to follow along or let your own creativity run wild.
4. Sweet Festive Memories: As you decorate, you’ll have the chance to share laughter, stories, and the joy of the season with fellow participants.
5. Take-Home Masterpiece: At the end of the session, you’ll have a beautifully decorated Christmas cake to proudly display at your holiday gatherings or give as a heartfelt, homemade gift.
Inclusions
- The Participant price covers the cost of food/drinks as outlined in the activity description and any entry/activity costs.
- Bookings close one day before the activity unless sold out prior.
- Please refer to the Cancellation Policy prior to booking a ticket.
Shuttles
Johnny H Nepean Shuttles will be available for this event, simply just choose your transport option when booking. Shuttle time and cost will be calculated according to your pick up / drop off point. The cost of the shuttle service is not included in the published predicted NDIS cost. More information about our shuttle service can be found here.
Please note:
* This event is designed for active participants with a mild to moderate intellectual or developmental disability.
* This event will be conducted in compliance with COVID safe practices and any vaccination requirements as outlined by the NSW Department of Health.
* Johnny H can only accept booking requests from those whose NDIS funds are Self or Plan Managed. If your plan is Agency Managed, please call 1300 053 001 to discuss your options.
* Funding will be calculated based on the final attendance numbers and the individual support required to increase the capacity of the individual making the booking to match the rest of the group.
* We predict and aim for a ratio of 1:3 for community-based activities and 1:5 for those held inside Johnny’s Place, at the rate set out in the current NDIS price guide.
* Final ratios will fall between 1:2 and 1:5.
