The Lowdown
This event has now become a regular on our event schedule based on the feedback everyone provides from the Independent Living Experiences we organise with the cooking being a favourite part. We’ll look to tackle more complex dishes than we’d have in the day program from main meals, deserts, cakes and biscuits. Each event will have a different recipe for us to try and perfect. Scott will even be present as a taste tester for this round.
If things progress well and there is enough interest we might even look to enter some cooking or baking competitions.
Inclusions
The Participant price covers the cost of food/drinks as outlined in the activity description and any entry/activity costs.
Bookings close one day before the activity unless sold out prior.

Shuttles
Johnny H Nepean Shuttles will be available for this event, simply just choose your transport option when booking. Shuttle time and cost will be calculated according to your pick up / drop off point. The cost of the shuttle service is not included in the published predicted NDIS cost. More information about our shuttle service can be found here.
Please note:
* This event is designed for active participants with a mild to moderate intellectual or developmental disability.
* This event will be conducted in compliance with COVID safe practices and any vaccination requirements as outlined by the NSW Department of Health.
* Johnny H can only accept booking requests from those whose NDIS funds are Self or Plan Managed. If your plan is Agency Managed, please call 1300 053 001 to discuss your options.
* Funding will be calculated based on the final attendance numbers. We predict and aim for a ratio of 1:3 for community-based activities and 1:5 for those held inside Johnny’s Place, at the rate set out in the current NDIS price guide. Final ratios will fall between 1:2 and 1:5.
