Our Story
Johnny H is a family-owned organisation inspired by John Hirst, great-uncle of our founder and managing director, Scott Hirst. Born in 1942 with Down syndrome, John lived in a time when independent travel and new experiences weren't encouraged. He loved meeting people, exploring new places and sharing every adventure. In his spirit, Johnny H exists to open the world for our community.
Our Vision
Johnny H strives to support people living with disability to have greater choice and control, build social confidence and live connected, fulfilling lives within their communities.
Our Mission
We create meaningful opportunities for participants to see more, do more and be more through supportive experiences that build confidence, independence, friendships and community inclusion..
