Enjoy a refreshing long weekend in the nation’s capital with Johnny H. This relaxed three-day getaway combines golf, sightseeing, and great company—perfect for those who enjoy a balance of activity and downtime.
What to Expect
Day 1 – Friday, 6 June 2025
We’ll hit the road from Penrith for a comfortable drive to Canberra. After checking in at our accommodation, spend the afternoon on the greens at Narrabundah Public Golf Course before heading out for a fun night of glow-in-the-dark mini golf. Dinner will be at the German Club.
Day 2 – Saturday, 7 June 2025
Start the day with a midday golf session back at Narrabundah, followed by time at the driving range in the afternoon. That evening, enjoy a hearty dinner at the popular Kingston Pub.
Day 3 – Sunday, 8 June 2025
We’ll wrap up the weekend with a visit to the Australian War Memorial and a stop at the Harry Potter Shop. Lunch in Canberra rounds out the trip before we return to Penrith.

Pricing & Inclusions
The Participant price covers the cost of all accomodation food/drinks as outlined in the activity description and any entry/activity costs.
The NDIS includes support and return transport from Johnny’s Place.
Bookings close one week before the activity unless sold out prior.

Please note:
* This event is designed for active participants with a mild to moderate intellectual or developmental disability.
* Participation in any activity is subject to an individual risk assessment to ensure safety and suitability. The required level of support, including client-to-worker ratios, will be determined based on the client’s needs and the nature of the activity.
* This event will be conducted in compliance with COVID safe practices and any vaccination requirements as outlined by the NSW Department of Health.
* Johnny H can only accept booking requests from those whose NDIS funds are Self or Plan Managed. If your plan is Agency Managed, please call 1300 053 001 to discuss your options.
* Funding will be calculated based on the final attendance numbers and the individual support required to increase the capacity of the individual making the booking to match the rest of the group.
* We predict and aim for a ratio of 1:3 for community-based activities and for those held inside Johnny’s Place, at the rate set out in the current NDIS price guide.
* Final ratios will fall between 1:2 and 1:5.
