Details
Thursday – Communication and Boxing
Thursdays focus on building clear, confident communication skills, with the added benefit of a structured boxing session to support fitness, coordination and self-confidence.
Morning Focus – Communication Skills
The morning session supports participants to grow their verbal and non-verbal communication. Activities include practising conversation skills, expressing opinions, asking questions, taking turns and recognising body language. The environment is supportive and relaxed so participants feel safe to have a go and build confidence speaking and listening in a group.
11am – Boxing
Late morning, participants take part in a supervised boxing session. This is a non-contact program that focuses on pad work, coordination, following instructions and safe movement. Boxing is a great outlet for energy and can help improve focus, resilience and physical fitness while still being fun and social.
Afternoon Focus – Communication Games
In the afternoon, participants engage in communication games that put the morning’s learning into practice. Activities might include role-play, guessing games, charades, word challenges or team tasks that encourage speaking clearly, listening, problem-solving and working together.
