The Lowdown

You’re invited to The Johnny H Awards Night – “The Johnnys”, a special evening dedicated to celebrating your achievements! This is a night to recognise growth, effort, milestones, and memorable moments across the year, with a variety of fun and meaningful award categories. This event will be held at Johnny’s Place.

Award recipients will receive a confirmation email, but this event is open to everyone — you’re welcome to attend and be part of what’s set to be a fantastic night out celebrating the Johnny H community.

What to Expect

Awards Ceremony: Enjoy a formal awards presentation where we recognise participants across a range of categories. It’s a chance to cheer each other on and celebrate everyone’s efforts and successes.

Special Guests Welcome: Parents, carers, and friends are invited to attend the awards ceremony from 3:00pm – 5:00pm (maximum of 3 guests per participant).

Formal Event: This is a special occasion, so formal wear is required — dress to impress and enjoy the atmosphere of a true awards night experience.

Dinner for Participants: Participants will enjoy dinner as part of the evening, making it a full celebration from start to finish.

Photos & Memories: After the ceremony, families will have the opportunity to have photos taken together, capturing memories from this special night.

Good to Know

  • The Participant price covers the cost of food/drinks as outlined in the activity description and any entry/activity costs.
  • The NDIS price includes support and return transport from Johnnys Place.
  • Bookings close one day before the activity unless sold out prior.
  • Please refer to our Cancellation Policy prior to booking.

Shuttles

Johnny H Nepean Shuttles will be available for this event, simply just choose your transport option when booking. Shuttle time and cost will be calculated according to your pick up / drop off point. The cost of the shuttle service is not included in the published predicted NDIS cost. More information about our shuttle service can be found here.

Please note:

* This event is designed for active participants with a mild to moderate intellectual or developmental disability.
* Johnny H can only accept booking requests from those whose NDIS funds are Self or Plan Managed. If your plan is Agency Managed, please call 1300 053 001 to discuss your options.
* Funding will be calculated based on the final attendance numbers and the individual support required to increase the capacity of the individual making the booking to match the rest of the group.
* We predict and aim for a ratio of 1:3 for community-based activities and for those held inside Johnny’s Place, at the rate set out in the current NDIS price guide.
* Final ratios will fall between 1:2 and 1:5.
