Enjoy a relaxed overnight trip from Penrith to Mudgee to watch the Penrith Panthers take on the Canberra Raiders live at Mudgee Stadium. This trip combines live NRL action, a meaningful cultural visit and a comfortable overnight stay.
What to Expect
Day 1
We’ll drive from Penrith to Mudgee, stopping along the way for morning tea and have lunch on arrival. After lunch, we will head to the stadium for the game at 2pm. After the game we will check into our accommodation and freshen up for dinner at a local spot.
Day 2
After breakfast, we’ll visit the Robert Stein Motorcycle Museum and head to Mudgee Honey Haven to check out the great local honey and play some mini golf while we are there! We will have lunch before making our way back to Penrith for 5pm.
A great short break offering live sport, shared experiences and supported community participation in a relaxed and social setting.

Every Johnny H trip is thoughtfully planned to match the needs of our participants. Whether you’re working towards greater independence, social participation, or just building confidence being away from home, our team is here to support you every step of the way.
Pricing & Inclusions
The Participant price covers the cost of all accomodation food/drinks as outlined in the activity description and any entry/activity costs.
A deposit of $50 is due within 7 days of booking. The remainder of the participant cost is due prior to travel.
The NDIS includes support and return transport from Johnny’s Place.
Please refer to our Cancellation Policy prior to booking. The NDIS cost component is subject to the standard NDIS cancellation terms.
The Non Face to Face estimate is based on 6 travellers and July 2025 pricing. This price will be adjusted based the final number of travellers.
Bookings close one week before the activity unless sold out prior.
Please note:
* This event is designed for active participants with a mild to moderate intellectual or developmental disability.
* Participation in any activity is subject to an individual risk assessment to ensure safety and suitability. The required level of support, including client-to-worker ratios, will be determined based on the client’s needs and the nature of the activity.
* This event will be conducted in compliance with COVID safe practices and any vaccination requirements as outlined by the NSW Department of Health.
* Johnny H can only accept booking requests from those whose NDIS funds are Self or Plan Managed. If your plan is Agency Managed, please call 1300 053 001 to discuss your options.
* Funding will be calculated based on the final attendance numbers and the individual support required to increase the capacity of the individual making the booking to match the rest of the group.
* We predict and aim for a ratio of 1:3 for community-based activities and for those held inside Johnny’s Place, at the rate set out in the current NDIS price guide.
* Final ratios will fall between 1:2 and 1:5.
