Join us for an exciting day trip to Cronulla, where we’ll explore stunning sand dunes, scenic beaches, and iconic landmarks before enjoying a picturesque ferry ride to Bundeena. This adventure-packed day offers a perfect blend of nature, relaxation, and exploration.
What to Expect
Cronulla Sand Dunes and Beach: Arrive in Cronulla and start your adventure by exploring the beautiful sand dunes and the pristine beach. Enjoy the fresh sea air and the stunning coastal views.
Voodoo Point and Cape Baily Lighthouse: Capture breathtaking photos at Voodoo Point, then head to Cape Baily Lighthouse for more scenic views and a glimpse into the area’s maritime history.
Lunch at a Local Cafe: Refuel with a delicious lunch at one of Cronulla’s charming local cafes, offering a variety of tasty options to suit all preferences.
Ferry Ride to Bundeena: Find parking near Cronulla Ferries and embark on a delightful 20-minute ferry ride to Bundeena. Enjoy the serene journey across the water and take in the beautiful surroundings.
Explore Bundeena: Discover the charm of Bundeena with a light bushwalk and a relaxing afternoon tea. Explore the local area, enjoy the natural beauty, and unwind in this tranquil setting.
Return Ferry and Journey Back: Catch the ferry back to Cronulla and then head back to the centre, wrapping up the day with wonderful memories of your coastal adventure. Please bring cash for the ferry ($17.60 total / 8.80 each way).
Social Interaction: Spend quality time with friends and fellow participants, sharing the day’s experiences and creating lasting connections.

Price includes all activities. Please bring cash for the ferry ($8.80 each way). Other personal expenses are not included.
Pricing & Inclusions
- The Participant price covers the cost of food/drinks as outlined in the activity description and any entry/activity costs.
- The NDIS price includes support and return transport from Johnnys Place.
- Bookings close one day before the activity unless sold out prior.
- Please refer to our Cancellation Policy prior to booking.
Shuttles
Johnny H Nepean Shuttles will be available for this event, simply just choose your transport option when booking. Shuttle time and cost will be calculated according to your pick up / drop off point. The cost of the shuttle service is not included in the published predicted NDIS cost. More information about our shuttle service can be found here.
Please note:
* This event is designed for active participants with a mild to moderate intellectual or developmental disability.
* Johnny H can only accept booking requests from those whose NDIS funds are Self or Plan Managed. If your plan is Agency Managed, please call 1300 053 001 to discuss your options.
* Funding will be calculated based on the final attendance numbers and the individual support required to increase the capacity of the individual making the booking to match the rest of the group.
* We predict and aim for a ratio of 1:3 for community-based activities and for those held inside Johnny’s Place, at the rate set out in the current NDIS price guide.
* Final ratios will fall between 1:2 and 1:5.
