The Lowdown
Creatures of the Ice Age have emerged from their frozen hideaways and have made themselves at home at Sydney Zoo in Eastern Creek. Brace yourself as you encounter the mighty Woolly Mammoth, ferocious Sabre-toothed Tiger, powerful Polar Bears and more. If you look closely, you might even spot similarities between the animals at Sydney Zoo and these frosty creatures: the way they look and move, how they hunt or even how they rear their young.
While you’re there, join in the frostivities and visit their thrilling Rides Zone or the Craft Village to create your own custom snow globe. If you’re lucky, you might even catch a glimpse of the elusive Abominable Snow Man.
The price includes entry to the zoo as well as lunch. Other personal expenses are not included.
Inclusions
The Participant price covers the cost of food/drinks as outlined in the activity description and any entry/activity costs.
Bookings close one day before the activity unless sold out prior.

Shuttles
Johnny H Nepean Shuttles will be available for this event, simply just choose your transport option when booking. Shuttle time and cost will be calculated according to your pick up / drop off point. The cost of the shuttle service is not included in the published predicted NDIS cost. More information about our shuttle service can be found here.
Please note:
* This event is designed for active participants with a mild to moderate intellectual or developmental disability.
* This event will be conducted in compliance with COVID safe practices and any vaccination requirements as outlined by the NSW Department of Health.
* Johnny H can only accept booking requests from those whose NDIS funds are Self or Plan Managed. If your plan is Agency Managed, please call 1300 053 001 to discuss your options.
* Funding will be calculated based on the final attendance numbers and the individual support required to increase the capacity of the individual making the booking to match the rest of the group.
* We predict and aim for a ratio of 1:3 for community-based activities and 1:5 for those held inside Johnny’s Place, at the rate set out in the current NDIS price guide.
* Final ratios will fall between 1:2 and 1:5.
