Cruise across the sparkling waters, explore one of Sydney’s most iconic beaches, and wander through vibrant markets packed with local treasures. It’s the perfect mix of relaxation, seaside charm, and a little retail therapy by the ocean.
What to Expect
Scenic Ferry Rides
Enjoy a beautiful ferry journey from the Parramatta River to Circular Quay, then on to Manly. Take in sweeping harbour views, including the Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge, as you glide across the water.
Manly Markets & Beach
Browse the bustling Manly Markets for unique handmade goods, artisan treats, and quirky finds. Then, wander down to the golden sands of Manly Beach to soak up the fresh sea air and coastal atmosphere.
Classic Fish & Chips Lunch
No trip to Manly is complete without fish and chips by the beach! Enjoy a relaxed seaside lunch with stunning ocean views.
Afternoon River Relaxation
On the way back, unwind with afternoon tea by the river before we wrap up the day. A sweet finish to a fantastic coastal escape!
Pricing Includes
Lunch & afternoon tea, please bring your opal card along to pay for Ferry rides.
Good to Know
- The Participant price covers the cost of food/drinks as outlined in the activity description and any entry/activity costs.
- The NDIS price includes support and return transport from Johnnys Place.
- Bookings close one day before the activity unless sold out prior.
- Please refer to our Cancellation Policy prior to booking.
Shuttles
Johnny H Nepean Shuttles will be available for this event, simply just choose your transport option when booking. Shuttle time and cost will be calculated according to your pick up / drop off point. The cost of the shuttle service is not included in the published predicted NDIS cost. More information about our shuttle service can be found here.
Please note:
* This event is designed for active participants with a mild to moderate intellectual or developmental disability.
* Johnny H can only accept booking requests from those whose NDIS funds are Self or Plan Managed. If your plan is Agency Managed, please call 1300 053 001 to discuss your options.
* Funding will be calculated based on the final attendance numbers and the individual support required to increase the capacity of the individual making the booking to match the rest of the group.
* We predict and aim for a ratio of 1:3 for community-based activities and for those held inside Johnny’s Place, at the rate set out in the current NDIS price guide.
* Final ratios will fall between 1:2 and 1:5.
