What to Expect
Magical Train Rides: Hop on the Christmas Train and Mini Elf Express for a delightful ride through a Christmas wonderland, filled with twinkling lights, festive decor, and holiday spirit at every turn.
Festive Atmosphere: Enjoy the beautifully decorated grounds, filled with holiday charm, and let the Christmas music and lights bring you the warmth of the season.
Meet Santa and Friends: Kids and the young at heart can look forward to meeting Santa and his friends, who’ll be spreading cheer throughout the day.
Scenic Picnic Grounds: Savour a tasty lunch together in the park’s spacious picnic grounds, ideal for a relaxing meal surrounded by holiday decor and good company.
Locomotive Shed Tours: Discover the magic of historic trains with a guided tour of the locomotive sheds, a unique chance to learn about and admire these engineering marvels.
Enjoy a day of Christmas magic, laughter, and holiday memories, making this outing the perfect way to celebrate the season with friends.
Price includes the train ride and lunch. Other expenses are not included.
Pricing & Inclusions
- The Participant price covers the cost of food/drinks as outlined in the activity description and any entry/activity costs.
- The NDIS price includes support and return transport from Johnnys Place.
- Bookings close one day before the activity unless sold out prior.
- Please refer to our Cancellation Policy prior to booking.
Shuttles
Johnny H Nepean Shuttles will be available for this event, simply just choose your transport option when booking. Shuttle time and cost will be calculated according to your pick up / drop off point. The cost of the shuttle service is not included in the published predicted NDIS cost. More information about our shuttle service can be found here.
Please note:
* This event is designed for active participants with a mild to moderate intellectual or developmental disability.
* Johnny H can only accept booking requests from those whose NDIS funds are Self or Plan Managed. If your plan is Agency Managed, please call 1300 053 001 to discuss your options.
* Funding will be calculated based on the final attendance numbers and the individual support required to increase the capacity of the individual making the booking to match the rest of the group.
* We predict and aim for a ratio of 1:3 for community-based activities and for those held inside Johnny’s Place, at the rate set out in the current NDIS price guide.
* Final ratios will fall between 1:2 and 1:5.
