Join us for Sydney 500: Fan Free Friday — a high-energy day out celebrating motorsport, speed, and behind-the-scenes action. This free fan day is all about soaking up the atmosphere, getting close to the action, exploring displays, and enjoying a fun day together at one of Sydney’s biggest sporting events.
What to Expect
Motorsport Atmosphere:
Experience the buzz of the Sydney 500 as the event comes to life, with cars, teams, and fans filling the precinct.
Behind-the-Scenes Access:
Enjoy fan-focused activities that may include pit lane access, team areas, and opportunities to see the cars up close.
Driver & Team Appearances:
Keep an eye out for driver appearances, interviews, and autograph opportunities throughout the day.
Photo Opportunities:
Take plenty of photos with race cars, event backdrops, and around the track — perfect for capturing the excitement of the day.
A Fun Group Day Out:
Spend the day together enjoying the sights, sounds, and energy of live motorsport in a relaxed and social setting.

Pricing Includes
Lunch and snacks for the day (entry is free but ticket will also be provided)
Good to Know
- The Participant price covers the cost of food/drinks as outlined in the activity description and any entry/activity costs.
- The NDIS price includes support and return transport from Johnnys Place.
- Bookings close one day before the activity unless sold out prior.
- Please refer to our Cancellation Policy prior to booking.
Shuttles
Johnny H Nepean Shuttles will be available for this event, simply just choose your transport option when booking. Shuttle time and cost will be calculated according to your pick up / drop off point. The cost of the shuttle service is not included in the published predicted NDIS cost. More information about our shuttle service can be found here.
Please note:
* This event is designed for active participants with a mild to moderate intellectual or developmental disability.
* Johnny H can only accept booking requests from those whose NDIS funds are Self or Plan Managed. If your plan is Agency Managed, please call 1300 053 001 to discuss your options.
* Funding will be calculated based on the final attendance numbers and the individual support required to increase the capacity of the individual making the booking to match the rest of the group.
* We predict and aim for a ratio of 1:3 for community-based activities and for those held inside Johnny’s Place, at the rate set out in the current NDIS price guide.
* Final ratios will fall between 1:2 and 1:5.
