Spend a relaxing Sunday exploring Sydney by Boat! Start your adventure at Parramatta Wharf and enjoy a scenic ferry ride down the Parramatta River, arriving at Circular Quay for morning tea. From there, hop on another ferry to Watsons Bay, Rose Bay, or Manly for a delightful lunch by the water. It’s the perfect day out to soak in Sydney’s stunning harbour views while indulging in delicious food.
What to Expect
Ferry Adventure: Begin the day with a peaceful ferry ride from Parramatta Wharf, gliding down the river and taking in Sydney’s beautiful harbour scenery.
Morning Tea at Circular Quay: Stretch your legs and enjoy a morning tea at Circular Quay, where you can admire iconic views of the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Opera House.
Harbour Cruise to Lunch: Choose your next stop—whether it’s Watsons Bay, Rose Bay, or Manly—for a scenic ferry trip and a tasty waterside lunch, complete with breathtaking harbour views.
Laid-Back Vibes: This day is all about relaxing, exploring, and enjoying the best of Sydney’s waterfront charm in a casual, friendly setting.
Join us for a leisurely Sunday by boat and experience Sydney’s harbour in the best possible way—by ferry, food, and fun!
Price includes lunch. Be sure to bring your Opal Card for ferry transport. Other personal expenses are not included.
Pricing & Inclusions
- The Participant price covers the cost of food/drinks as outlined in the activity description and any entry/activity costs.
- The NDIS price includes support and return transport from Johnnys Place.
- Bookings close one day before the activity unless sold out prior.
- Please refer to our Cancellation Policy prior to booking.
Shuttles
Johnny H Nepean Shuttles will be available for this event, simply just choose your transport option when booking. Shuttle time and cost will be calculated according to your pick up / drop off point. The cost of the shuttle service is not included in the published predicted NDIS cost. More information about our shuttle service can be found here.
Please note:
* This event is designed for active participants with a mild to moderate intellectual or developmental disability.
* Johnny H can only accept booking requests from those whose NDIS funds are Self or Plan Managed. If your plan is Agency Managed, please call 1300 053 001 to discuss your options.
* Funding will be calculated based on the final attendance numbers and the individual support required to increase the capacity of the individual making the booking to match the rest of the group.
* We predict and aim for a ratio of 1:3 for community-based activities and for those held inside Johnny’s Place, at the rate set out in the current NDIS price guide.
* Final ratios will fall between 1:2 and 1:5.
