Join us for a fun-filled adventure where we’ll vote on our favourite pie shops and travel to the top two locations—one in Canberra and one in NSW. Enjoy stunning scenery and sights along the way, making this a memorable culinary journey!
What to Expect
Pie Shop Voting: Before we hit the road, we’ll gather to vote on our favourite local pie shops. This is your chance to champion your top picks and share why you believe they make the best Aussie meat pie!
Scenic Drive: As we travel to our selected pie shops, soak in the breathtaking views and beautiful landscapes of the region. This outing isn’t just about the pies; it’s also about enjoying the journey and the sights along the way.
First Stop – Canberra: Our first destination will be a renowned pie shop in Canberra, known for its delectable pastries and classic flavours. Indulge in a variety of meat pies, from traditional recipes to unique creations, and see if they live up to the hype!
Second Stop – NSW: After satisfying our cravings in Canberra, we’ll continue to our second pie shop in NSW. Here, you can sample their offerings and vote on which pie shop reigns supreme as the best in our taste test!
Social Experience: Share the experience with friends and fellow pie lovers, creating lasting memories while exploring local gems. This outing promises plenty of laughs, good company, and of course, delicious food!

Price includes travel and pie tasting at both locations. Don’t miss out on this delicious journey!
Pricing & Inclusions
The Participant price covers the cost of food/drinks as outlined in the activity description and any entry/activity costs.
The NDIS price includes support and return transport from Johnnys Place.
Bookings close one day before the activity unless sold out prior.

Shuttles
Johnny H Shuttles will be available for this event, simply just choose your transport option when booking. Shuttle time and cost will be calculated according to your pick up / drop off point. The cost of the shuttle service is not included in the published predicted NDIS cost. More information about our shuttle service can be found here.
Please note:
* This event is designed for active participants with a mild to moderate intellectual or developmental disability.
* This event will be conducted in compliance with COVID safe practices and any vaccination requirements as outlined by the Department of Health.
* Johnny H can only accept booking requests from those whose NDIS funds are Self or Plan Managed. If your plan is Agency Managed, please call 1300 053 001 to discuss your options.
* Funding will be calculated based on the final attendance numbers and the individual support required to increase the capacity of the individual making the booking to that required to actively participate in this event.
* We predict and aim for a ratio of 1:3 for community-based activities and 1:5 for those held inside Johnny’s Place, at the rate set out in the current NDIS price guide.
* Final ratios will fall between 1:2 and 1:5.
