Join us for a fantastic Sunday out at Tidbinbilla Nature Reserve! This is the perfect opportunity to immerse yourself in nature, enjoy a delicious BBQ lunch in the park, and explore the scenic walking trails while keeping an eye out for the resident koalas. Get ready for a fun day of adventure and relaxation in the great outdoors!
What to Expect
BBQ Lunch: We’ll kick off the day with a mouth-watering BBQ lunch in the park. Enjoy sizzling sausages, juicy burgers, and a selection of fresh salads while soaking up the sun and enjoying the beautiful surroundings.
Walking Trails: After lunch, it’s time to lace up your hiking boots and hit the walking trails! Tidbinbilla offers a variety of paths suited for all fitness levels, with stunning views of the natural landscape and the chance to spot local wildlife along the way.
Koala Spotting: One of the highlights of our day will be the chance to see koalas in their natural habitat. Keep your eyes peeled as we wander through the reserve, and let’s see how many we can spot lounging in the trees!
Social Experience: This outing is a great way to connect with friends and fellow nature lovers. Share stories, enjoy each other’s company, and create lasting memories as we explore the beauty of Tidbinbilla together.

Pricing & Inclusions
The Participant price covers the cost of food/drinks as outlined in the activity description and any entry/activity costs.
The NDIS price includes support and return transport from Johnnys Place.
Bookings close one day before the activity unless sold out prior.

Shuttles
Johnny H Shuttles will be available for this event, simply just choose your transport option when booking. Shuttle time and cost will be calculated according to your pick up / drop off point. The cost of the shuttle service is not included in the published predicted NDIS cost. More information about our shuttle service can be found here.
Please note:
* This event is designed for active participants with a mild to moderate intellectual or developmental disability.
* This event will be conducted in compliance with COVID safe practices and any vaccination requirements as outlined by the Department of Health.
* Johnny H can only accept booking requests from those whose NDIS funds are Self or Plan Managed. If your plan is Agency Managed, please call 1300 053 001 to discuss your options.
* Funding will be calculated based on the final attendance numbers and the individual support required to increase the capacity of the individual making the booking to that required to actively participate in this event.
* We predict and aim for a ratio of 1:3 for community-based activities and 1:5 for those held inside Johnny’s Place, at the rate set out in the current NDIS price guide.
* Final ratios will fall between 1:2 and 1:5.
