Join us for a day out at Hyde Park to explore the Treasures of the ANZAC Exhibit. We’ll travel together by train from Penrith Station, making it an easy and social journey into the city. What to Expect
Train Journey from Penrith
We will catch the train from Penrith Station and enjoy a relaxing train ride into the city with friends. Chat, plan the day, and take in the sights along the way.
Explore the Exhibit
Walk through the Treasures of the ANZAC Exhibit, featuring authentic artefacts, letters, photographs, and memorabilia from World War I. Learn about the personal stories of soldiers and the sacrifices they made.
Lunch
Take a break and enjoy lunch with friends in or near Hyde Park. Share stories, relax, and refuel for the rest of the day’s explorations.
Explore Hyde Park
After the exhibit, wander the park and nearby areas. Take in the statues, memorials, fountains, and natural beauty of this historic city space.

Good to Know
- The Participant price covers the cost of food/drinks as outlined in the activity description and any entry/activity costs.
- The NDIS price includes support and return transport from Johnnys Place.
- Bookings close one day before the activity unless sold out prior.
- Please refer to our Cancellation Policy prior to booking.
Shuttles
Johnny H Nepean Shuttles will be available for this event, simply just choose your transport option when booking. Shuttle time and cost will be calculated according to your pick up / drop off point. The cost of the shuttle service is not included in the published predicted NDIS cost. More information about our shuttle service can be found here.
Please note:
* This event is designed for active participants with a mild to moderate intellectual or developmental disability.
* Johnny H can only accept booking requests from those whose NDIS funds are Self or Plan Managed. If your plan is Agency Managed, please call 1300 053 001 to discuss your options.
* Funding will be calculated based on the final attendance numbers and the individual support required to increase the capacity of the individual making the booking to match the rest of the group.
* We predict and aim for a ratio of 1:3 for community-based activities and for those held inside Johnny’s Place, at the rate set out in the current NDIS price guide.
* Final ratios will fall between 1:2 and 1:5.
