Thursday – Communication and Health and Wellbeing

Thursdays help participants build clear and confident communication skills before moving into an afternoon of guided hydrotherapy in the pool.

Morning Focus – Communication

The morning session supports participants to strengthen both verbal and non-verbal communication. Activities include practising conversation skills, expressing opinions, asking questions and understanding body language. Sessions are interactive and supportive, giving participants the chance to build confidence speaking in group settings, sharing ideas and listening to others.

Afternoon Focus – Hydrotherapy Swimming

In the afternoon, the group attends a supervised hydrotherapy swimming session. Participants take part in gentle, water-based exercises designed to support mobility, strength and joint comfort. The warm water environment helps with relaxation while structured activities promote balance, coordination and confidence in the pool. Sessions are adapted to individual needs and delivered in a calm, supportive setting.
