The Lowdown
Join Johnny H for a fun weekend away in the nation’s capital of Canberra.
There is plenty to see and do in Canberra – we will visit the War Memorial*, Questcom*, Black Mountain Tower* and more.
This short stay departs from Johnny’s Place at 3pm on the Friday afternoon and returns by 5pm on the Sunday.
Short stays are an ideal opportunity to build independence via supported group travel while not being away from family for too long.
Pricing & Inclusions
The Participant price covers the cost of food/drinks as outlined in the activity description and any entry/activity costs.
The NDIS price includes support and return transport from Johnnys Place.
Bookings close one week before the activity unless sold out prior.

Please note:
* This event is designed for active participants with a mild to moderate intellectual or developmental disability.
* This event will be conducted in compliance with COVID safe practices and any vaccination requirements as outlined by the NSW Department of Health.
* Johnny H can only accept booking requests from those whose NDIS funds are Self or Plan Managed. If your plan is Agency Managed, please call 1300 053 001 to discuss your options.
* Funding will be calculated based on the final attendance numbers. We predict and aim for a ratio of 1:3 for community-based activities and 1:5 for those held inside Johnny’s Place, at the rate set out in the current NDIS price guide. Final ratios will fall between 1:2 and 1:5.
