Trip Highlights
Friday 25 July
– Drive from Canberra to Wollongong and book into comfortable hotel accommodation
– Enjoy a fun round of laser tag and explore the fascinating Motorlife Museum
– Optional: Add on 3 x Go-Karting sessions or if you prefer something more relaxed, we will visit scenic Lake Illawarra instead.
Saturday 26 July
– Take in the stunning rainforest views on the Illawarra Treetop Walk
– Enjoy a leisurely walk to see local waterfalls
– The Treetops walk is included in the participant cost, with the option to add on the Zipline experience to fly high through the trees.
Sunday 27 July
– Enjoy breakfast before checking out of the hotel
– Visit the peaceful Nan Tien Buddhist Temple
– Stop by Breakwater Lighthouse before returning to Canberra

Pricing & Inclusions
The Participant price covers the cost of all accomodation food/drinks as outlined in the activity description and any entry/activity costs.
The NDIS pricing for this adventure will be confirmed once the new NDIS pricing is available in early July 2025.
The NDIS price includes support and return transport from Johnny’s Place to the destination.
Bookings close one week before the activity unless sold out prior.

Shuttles
Johnny H Shuttles will be available for this event, simply just choose your transport option when booking. Shuttle time and cost will be calculated according to your pick up / drop off point. The cost of the shuttle service is not included in the published predicted NDIS cost. More information about our shuttle service can be found here.
Please note:
* This event is designed for active participants with a mild to moderate intellectual or developmental disability.
* Participation in any activity is subject to an individual risk assessment to ensure safety and suitability. The required level of support, including client-to-worker ratios, will be determined based on the client’s needs and the nature of the activity.
* This event will be conducted in compliance with COVID safe practices and any vaccination requirements as outlined by the NSW Department of Health.
* Funding will be calculated based on the final attendance numbers and the individual support required to increase the capacity of the individual making the booking to that required to actively participate in this event.
* We predict and aim for a ratio of 1:3 for community-based activities at the rate set out in the current NDIS price guide.
* Final ratios will fall between 1:2 and 1:5.
