The Lowdown
Join us for an unforgettable weekend away to Warners Bay and Lake Macquarie, where we’ll stay at an amazing house right on the shores of Lake Macquarie. With a huge deck and beautiful grounds to explore, this getaway promises relaxation, fun, and adventure. One of the highlights of the weekend is the optional camel ride on the beach, offering a unique and memorable experience.
*Please note – this trip is limited to 6 participants. Based on early bookings and room configurations, there is currently space for one more female to attend.
What to Expect
Great Accommodation: Stay at a large house featuring a spacious deck and picturesque grounds, perfect for soaking in the serene views of Lake Macquarie. There’s also a fireplace to keep us warm and toasty.
BBQs and Themed Dinner: Enjoy a tasty BBQ and a special themed dinner at the house, making the most of our beautiful surroundings and culinary delights.
Camel Ride on the Beach: Opt for an adventurous camel ride on the beach, or simply admire these majestic animals and watch the fun unfold. This activity is optional, allowing you to tailor the experience to your preference.

Price includes accommodation, activities and meals.
Pricing & Inclusions
The Participant price covers the cost of all accomodation food/drinks as outlined in the activity description and any entry/activity costs.
The NDIS includes support and return transport from Johnny’s Place.
Bookings close one week before the activity unless sold out prior.

Please note:
* This event is designed for active participants with a mild to moderate intellectual or developmental disability.
* This event will be conducted in compliance with COVID safe practices and any vaccination requirements as outlined by the NSW Department of Health.
* Johnny H can only accept booking requests from those whose NDIS funds are Self or Plan Managed. If your plan is Agency Managed, please call 1300 053 001 to discuss your options.
* Funding will be calculated based on the final attendance numbers and the individual support required to increase the capacity of the individual making the booking to match the rest of the group.
* We predict and aim for a ratio of 1:3 for community-based activities and for those held inside Johnny’s Place, at the rate set out in the current NDIS price guide.
* Final ratios will fall between 1:2 and 1:5.
