Enjoy an energising coastal escape to the Gold Coast, where golden beaches meet world class attractions and laid back seaside living. Staying at the Bay Apartments in Coolangatta, this trip blends iconic theme parks, scenic hinterland and vibrant coastal experiences, with flexible travel options and the choice to add a thrill filled adventure.
What to Expect
Day 1
We’ll depart from your region in the morning, with the option to either fly or travel by coach to the Gold Coast. On arrival, we’ll settle into the Bay Apartments in Coolangatta, just moments from the beach. Take in the fresh ocean air, enjoy a stroll along the coastline or relax as the sun sets over this stunning seaside location.
Day 2
After breakfast, we’ll head to Sea World for a full day of marine adventure. Get up close with dolphins, seals and penguins, enjoy live shows and explore a mix of exhibits and rides. From thrilling attractions to interactive animal encounters, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
Day 3
Today is all about soaking up the relaxed charm of Coolangatta. Spend time on the beach, wander through local cafés and shops or enjoy the scenic coastal walks. This is your chance to slow the pace and enjoy one of the Gold Coast’s most beautiful and easy going locations.
Day 4
We’ll travel to Surfers Paradise, the heart of the Gold Coast’s energy and excitement. Here, you can choose an optional adventure, either the high speed thrill of jet boating through the waterways or a fun and unique Aqua Duck tour that takes you from the streets into the water. You’ll also have time to explore the vibrant esplanade, browse shops or simply take in the atmosphere.
Day 5
Get ready for a full day at Movie World, where blockbuster movies come to life. Experience exhilarating rides, themed attractions and live entertainment, all set within a world of superheroes and Hollywood magic. Whether you’re chasing thrills or enjoying the shows, it’s a highlight of the trip.
Day 6
We’ll head inland to Mt Tamborine for a refreshing change of scenery. Discover lush rainforest surrounds, scenic lookouts and charming local shops. Enjoy the cooler mountain air and take in the natural beauty of the Gold Coast hinterland.
Day 7
After breakfast, we’ll begin our journey home, bringing home great memories of a vibrant and experience filled escape.

Pricing & Inclusions
The Participant price covers the cost of all accomodation food/drinks and any entry/activity costs as outlined in the activity description.
A non-refundable deposit of $100 is due within 7 days of booking. The remainder of the participant cost is due prior to travel. Please refer to our Cancellation Policy prior to booking.
The NDIS cost covers the cost of support only and is subject to the standard NDIS cancellation terms.
The Non Face to Face estimate is based on 18 travellers and July 2025 pricing. This price will be adjusted based on the final number of travellers.
Bookings close one week before the trip unless sold out prior.
Please note:
* This event is designed for active participants aged 18 and over with a mild to moderate intellectual or developmental disability.
* Participation in any activity is subject to an individual risk assessment to ensure safety and suitability. The required level of support, including client-to-worker ratios, will be determined based on the client’s needs and the nature of the activity.
* Funding will be calculated based on the final attendance numbers and the individual support required to increase the capacity of the individual making the booking to match the rest of the group.
* We predict and aim for a ratio of 1:3 for community-based activities and for those held inside Johnny’s Place, at the rate set out in the current NDIS price guide.
* Final ratios will fall between 1:2 and 1:5.
