Enjoy a relaxing coastal escape to Port Macquarie, where beautiful beaches meet incredible wildlife, scenic walks and laid-back seaside living. Staying at Beachside Holiday Apartments, this 3-day getaway combines wildlife encounters, coastal adventures and time to unwind by the pool, with plenty of opportunities to build confidence and independence while experiencing a new environment away from the usual routine.
What to Expect
Day 1
We’ll hit the road and make our way to Port Macquarie, arriving at Beachside Holiday Apartments and settling into our accommodation. Once we’re settled in, there’ll be time to relax, enjoy the pool and explore the local area before heading out for a sunset cruise. Keep your eyes peeled for dolphins as we cruise along the coastline and enjoy the beautiful scenery as the sun goes down.
Day 2
Today is all about wildlife and exploring the coast. We’ll visit Billabong Zoo and spend time discovering the incredible animals, including the chance to see a snow leopard. Afterwards, we’ll head out for a coastal walk and take in the beautiful scenery and fresh ocean air. Later, we’ll return to our accommodation to relax, enjoy the pool and make the most of our evening in Port Macquarie.
Day 3
We’ll start our final morning with a peaceful rainforest boardwalk, surrounded by lush greenery and native wildlife. Keep an eye out for birds and other local animals as we explore the natural surrounds. After our morning adventure, we’ll pack up and begin our journey home, bringing our Port Macquarie getaway to an end.

Pricing & Inclusions
The Participant price covers the cost of all accomodation food/drinks and any entry/activity costs as outlined in the activity description.
The total participant cost is due prior to travel. Please refer to our Cancellation Policy prior to booking.
The NDIS cost covers the cost of support only and is subject to the standard NDIS cancellation terms.
The Non Face to Face estimate is based on 8 travellers and July 2026 pricing. This price will be adjusted based on the final number of travellers.
Bookings close one week before the trip unless sold out prior.
Please note:
* This event is designed for active participants aged 18 and over with a mild to moderate intellectual or developmental disability.
* Participation in any activity is subject to an individual risk assessment to ensure safety and suitability. The required level of support, including client-to-worker ratios, will be determined based on the client’s needs and the nature of the activity.
* Funding will be calculated based on the final attendance numbers and the individual support required to increase the capacity of the individual making the booking to match the rest of the group.
* We predict and aim for a ratio of 1:3 for community-based activities and for those held inside Johnny’s Place, at the rate set out in the current NDIS price guide.
* Final ratios will fall between 1:2 and 1:5.
