What to Bring:

  • Comfortable Clothing: Dress in comfortable athletic attire that allows for freedom of movement and flexibility on the court. Opt for breathable fabrics that wick away moisture and keep you cool and comfortable throughout your pickleball session.
  • Appropriate Footwear: Wear supportive athletic shoes with non-marking soles to provide stability, traction, and support during fast-paced gameplay. Choose shoes with ample cushioning and arch support to minimize the risk of injury and ensure optimal performance on the court.
  • Water Bottle: Stay hydrated and energized throughout your pickleball session by bringing along a refillable water bottle filled with plenty of refreshing fluids. Hydration is key to optimal performance and endurance on the court, so make sure to drink water regularly before, during, and after your games.

Price includes lunch and pickleball game time whilst other personal expenses are not included.

Pricing & Inclusions

The Participant price covers the cost of food/drinks as outlined in the activity description and any entry/activity costs.

The NDIS price includes support and return transport from Johnnys Place.

Bookings close one day before the activity unless sold out prior.

Please refer to our Cancellation Policy prior to booking.

Shuttles

Johnny H Shuttles will be available for this event, simply just choose your transport option when booking. Shuttle time and cost will be calculated according to your pick up / drop off point. The cost of the shuttle service is not included in the published predicted NDIS cost. More information about our shuttle service can be found here.

Please note:

* This event is designed for active participants with a mild to moderate intellectual or developmental disability.
* This event will be conducted in compliance with COVID safe practices and any vaccination requirements as outlined by the Department of Health.
* Johnny H can only accept booking requests from those whose NDIS funds are Self or Plan Managed. If your plan is Agency Managed, please call 1300 053 001 to discuss your options.

* Funding will be calculated based on the final attendance numbers and the individual support required to increase the capacity of the individual making the booking to that required to actively participate in this event.

* We predict and aim for a ratio of 1:3 for community-based activities and for those held inside Johnny’s Place, at the rate set out in the current NDIS price guide.

* Final ratios will fall between 1:2 and 1:5.
