Get ready to rock your Saturday with big laughs, epic guitar solos, and a whole lot of heart at School of Rock the Musical, performed live by Penrith Musical Comedy Company at The Joan. It’s a high-energy, feel-good show that’ll have you clapping, cheering, and maybe even headbanging in your seat.
What to Expect
School of Rock – Live on Stage
Based on the hit film, this musical follows wannabe rockstar Dewey Finn as he turns a class of straight-A students into a guitar-shredding, drum-smashing rock band. With a cast full of local talent and kids who seriously know how to perform, you’ll be blown away by the energy and fun from start to finish.
Local Theatre at Its Best
Enjoy a fantastic community production in the heart of Penrith at The Joan – a welcoming venue with great acoustics, comfy seating, and all the excitement of live theatre.
Lunch Included
Before the show, we’ll head out together for a group lunch, so everyone’s fueled up and ready for a rockin’ good time.

Good to Know
- The Participant price covers the cost of food/drinks as outlined in the activity description and any entry/activity costs.
- The NDIS price includes support and return transport from Johnnys Place.
- Bookings close one day before the activity unless sold out prior.
- Please refer to our Cancellation Policy prior to booking.
Shuttles
Johnny H Nepean Shuttles will be available for this event, simply just choose your transport option when booking. Shuttle time and cost will be calculated according to your pick up / drop off point. The cost of the shuttle service is not included in the published predicted NDIS cost. More information about our shuttle service can be found here.
Please note:
* This event is designed for active participants with a mild to moderate intellectual or developmental disability.
* Johnny H can only accept booking requests from those whose NDIS funds are Self or Plan Managed. If your plan is Agency Managed, please call 1300 053 001 to discuss your options.
* Funding will be calculated based on the final attendance numbers and the individual support required to increase the capacity of the individual making the booking to match the rest of the group.
* We predict and aim for a ratio of 1:3 for community-based activities and for those held inside Johnny’s Place, at the rate set out in the current NDIS price guide.
* Final ratios will fall between 1:2 and 1:5.
