The Lowdown
We are going to “Fly-Away” to Perth and take in the beauty of Western Australia. This trip will be a exploring rod trip with a few nights at the beginning of our journey before we head out and explore some more regional Western Australia destinations! Our days will be packed as we explore Rottnest Island and take in the shipwrecks museum amongst other Perth sights before we head down to Busselton and the wood pier that stretches nearly 2km to the Underwater Observatory, where life in a coral reef is on view. We’ll then head out to Walpole and Dwellingup and take in the inland sights that this beautiful state has to offer.
Short adventures are a great way to build independence and experience new places within a supported group.
Pricing & Inclusions
The Participant price covers the cost of airfares if required, food/drinks as outlined in the activity description and any entry/activity costs.
The NDIS price includes support and return transport from Johnnys Place.
The final ratio of the client booking will be determined by an individual assessment to determine the level of support the individual will require to participate in the trip uncompromised.
Bookings close one week before the activity unless sold out prior.

Please note:
* This event is designed for active participants with a mild to moderate intellectual or developmental disability.
* This event will be conducted in compliance with COVID safe practices and any vaccination requirements as outlined by the NSW Department of Health.
* Johnny H can only accept booking requests from those whose NDIS funds are Self or Plan Managed. If your plan is Agency Managed, please call 1300 053 001 to discuss your options.
* Funding will be calculated based on the final attendance numbers and the individual support required to increase the capacity of the individual making the booking to match the rest of the group.
* We predict and aim for a ratio of 1:3 for community-based activities and 1:5 for those held inside Johnny’s Place, at the rate set out in the current NDIS price guide.
* Final ratios will fall between 1:2 and 1:5.
