The Lowdown
We are going to “Road Trip” to the Sunshine Coast and take on a classic holiday. We’ll visit Australia Zoo, Buderim Ginger Factory and if weather permits Eumundi Markets as well as other local experiences. The Sunshine Coast is a beautiful spot north of Brisbane and will offer a completely different experience to the Gold Coast for those that have made this trip previously.
Short adventures are a great way to build independence and experience new places within a supported group.
Pricing & Inclusions
The Participant price covers the cost of airfares if required, food/drinks as outlined in the activity description and any entry/activity costs.
The NDIS price includes support and return transport from Johnnys Place.
The final ratio of the client booking will be determined by an individual assessment to determine the level of support the individual will require to participate in the trip uncompromised.
Bookings close one week before the activity unless sold out prior.

Please note:
* This event is designed for active participants with a mild to moderate intellectual or developmental disability.
* This event will be conducted in compliance with COVID safe practices and any vaccination requirements as outlined by the NSW Department of Health.
* Johnny H can only accept booking requests from those whose NDIS funds are Self or Plan Managed. If your plan is Agency Managed, please call 1300 053 001 to discuss your options.
* Funding will be calculated based on the final attendance numbers. We predict and aim for a ratio of 1:3 for community-based activities and 1:5 for those held inside Johnny’s Place, at the rate set out in the current NDIS price guide. Final ratios will fall between 1:2 and 1:5.
