Who is this for?

The Johnny H Work Readiness Program is designed for people aged 16 and over who are looking to build the skills, confidence and independence needed to prepare for meaningful employment.

This program is ideal for school leavers with a mild to moderate intellectual or developmental disability who want to explore different job pathways, develop real-world skills, and gain a better understanding of work environments.

Sessions run in small, supportive groups and are tailored to meet individual learning needs. Whether you’re just beginning to think about work or already have some experience, this program helps you grow your capacity and take the next steps at your own pace.

Note: Activities in this unit may be adapted to meet individual needs. Accommodations, such as 1:1 support, working with peers, and additional time, can be arranged to ensure a supportive and accessible learning experience.

All clients attending Work Readiness are required to bring prepared food for breaks, including lunch, unless otherwise noted when booking.
