Origami Odyssey: Unfold the secrets of origami, the delicate art of paper folding. From intricate cranes to playful animals, learn the ancient techniques that transform simple paper into stunning works of art. Origami masters will guide you through each fold, allowing you to create your miniature masterpieces.

Calligraphy Corner: Discover the elegance of Japanese calligraphy, known as “shodo.” Engage in the graceful movements of brush strokes as you learn to write traditional characters. The art of calligraphy is a meditative journey that connects you with the aesthetic beauty of the Japanese language.

Inclusions

The Participant price covers the cost of food/drinks as outlined in the activity description and any entry/activity costs.

Bookings close one day before the activity unless sold out prior.

Please refer to the Cancellation Policy prior to booking a ticket.

Shuttles

Johnny H Nepean Shuttles will be available for this event, simply just choose your transport option when booking. Shuttle time and cost will be calculated according to your pick up / drop off point. The cost of the shuttle service is not included in the published predicted NDIS cost. More information about our shuttle service can be found here.

Please note:

* This event is designed for active participants with a mild to moderate intellectual or developmental disability.
* This event will be conducted in compliance with COVID safe practices and any vaccination requirements as outlined by the NSW Department of Health.
* Johnny H can only accept booking requests from those whose NDIS funds are Self or Plan Managed. If your plan is Agency Managed, please call 1300 053 001 to discuss your options.
* Funding will be calculated based on the final attendance numbers and the individual support required to increase the capacity of the individual making the booking to match the rest of the group.
* We predict and aim for a ratio of 1:3 for community-based activities and for those held inside Johnny’s Place, at the rate set out in the current NDIS price guide.
* Final ratios will fall between 1:2 and 1:5.
