Lights, camera, cook! Join us for a delicious Come and Cook: Movie Favourites session where we’ll bring some of the most iconic meals and treats from the big screen to life. Whether you’re a fan of animated classics or magical adventures, this hands-on cooking experience is packed with fun, creativity, and plenty of tasty food.
Working together, we’ll prepare a selection of famous movie-inspired dishes before sitting down to enjoy everything we’ve created.
What to Expect
Matilda’s Chocolate Cake: Bake and decorate the famous rich chocolate cake inspired by Matilda.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Mini Pizzas: Create your own delicious mini pizzas just like everyone’s favourite pizza-loving turtles.
Po’s Dumplings: Learn how to make tasty dumplings inspired by Kung Fu Panda.
Scooby Snack Cookies: Bake a batch of delicious cookies inspired by the treats loved by Scooby-Doo.
Krabby Patty Sliders: Assemble your own mini burgers inspired by the famous Krabby Patties from SpongeBob SquarePants.
Ratatouille: Prepare the iconic French vegetable dish made famous by Ratatouille.
Butterbeer: Finish off the day by making a magical Butterbeer-inspired drink (non-alcoholic), just like the one enjoyed in the wizarding world.

- The Participant price covers the cost of food/drinks as outlined in the activity description and any entry/activity costs.
- The NDIS price includes support and return transport from Johnnys Place.
- Bookings close one day before the activity unless sold out prior.

Shuttles
Johnny H Shuttles will be available for this event, simply just choose your transport option when booking. Shuttle time and cost will be calculated according to your pick up / drop off point. The cost of the shuttle service is not included in the published predicted NDIS cost. More information about our shuttle service can be found here.
Please note:
* This event is designed for active participants with a mild to moderate intellectual or developmental disability.
* Participation in any activity is subject to an individual risk assessment to ensure safety and suitability. The required level of support, including client-to-worker ratios, will be determined based on the client’s needs and the nature of the activity.
* This event will be conducted in compliance with COVID safe practices and any vaccination requirements as outlined by the Department of Health.
* Johnny H can only accept booking requests from those whose NDIS funds are Self or Plan Managed. If your plan is Agency Managed, please call 1300 053 001 to discuss your options.
* Funding will be calculated based on the final attendance numbers and the individual support required to increase the capacity of the individual making the booking to that required to actively participate in this event.
* We predict and aim for a ratio of 1:3 for community-based activities and 1:5 for those held inside Johnny’s Place, at the rate set out in the current NDIS price guide.
* Final ratios will fall between 1:2 and 1:5.
