The Lowdown
We know that Johnny H is perhaps best known for high-energy day trips, adventures, overnight stays and it’s day programs but we want to provide opportunities for calm mindfulness as well.
This series of events is designed to promote camaraderie, mateship and the opportunity to work on a long-term project improving our fine motor skills and practising mindfulness.
We will pick one project we will work on over the course of the year which we’ll be able to keep as a keepsake from the course. It is encouraged that clients attend each week to ensure the projects move at the same pace and that personal improvements are consistent.
Inclusions
The Participant price covers the cost of food/drinks as outlined in the activity description and any entry/activity costs.
The NDIS price includes support and return transport from Johnnys Place.
Bookings close one day before the activity unless sold out prior, however, we recommend booking in to the full course to be able to work on your own unique project.

Shuttles
Johnny H Nepean Shuttles will be available for this event, simply just choose your transport option when booking. Shuttle time and cost will be calculated according to your pick up / drop off point. The cost of the shuttle service is not included in the published predicted NDIS cost. More information about our shuttle service can be found here.
Please note:
* This event is designed for active participants with a mild to moderate intellectual or developmental disability.
* This event will be conducted in compliance with COVID safe practices and any vaccination requirements as outlined by the NSW Department of Health.
* Johnny H can only accept booking requests from those whose NDIS funds are Self or Plan Managed. If your plan is Agency Managed, please call 1300 053 001 to discuss your options.
* Funding will be calculated based on the final attendance numbers. We predict and aim for a ratio of 1:3 for community-based activities and 1:5 for those held inside Johnny’s Place, at the rate set out in the current NDIS price guide. Final ratios will fall between 1:2 and 1:5.
