The Lowdown
Do you have what it takes to beat the clock? Join us for an action-packed Minute to Win It Challenge, where teamwork, quick thinking, and a little bit of luck will be put to the test!
Participants will be split into teams and work together to conquer a series of fast-paced, hands-on challenges. Every team member has an important role to play, with each person nominated to complete one challenge. Teamwork is the key to success—if every player doesn’t complete a challenge, the team won’t qualify for the win!
Get ready for a fun-filled event full of laughs, friendly competition, and exciting games.
What to Expect
Team Challenges: Work together as a team to complete a variety of one-minute challenges.
Fun hands on games: We will play loads of hands on games that are all limited to 1 minute, each team member must play at least one game for the team to win!
Build Hand-Eye Coordination: Many of the Minute to Win It challenges require participants to accurately throw, catch, balance, or guide objects, helping to strengthen hand-eye coordination in a fun and engaging way.
Develop Fine Motor Skills & Dexterity: Activities such as moving a marble with a straw or carefully placing ping pong balls encourage precision, control, and dexterity while improving fine motor skills.
Problem Solving Under Pressure: Participants will think quickly and adapt their approach as they race against the clock to complete each challenge.
Team Strategy: Carefully nominate one player for each challenge—every team member must complete one task for your team to be in the running!

Shuttles
Johnny H Shuttles will be available for this event, simply just choose your transport option when booking. Shuttle time and cost will be calculated according to your pick up / drop off point. The cost of the shuttle service is not included in the published predicted NDIS cost. More information about our shuttle service can be found here.
Please note:
* This event is designed for active participants with a mild to moderate intellectual or developmental disability.
* Participation in any activity is subject to an individual risk assessment to ensure safety and suitability. The required level of support, including client-to-worker ratios, will be determined based on the client’s needs and the nature of the activity.
* This event will be conducted in compliance with COVID safe practices and any vaccination requirements as outlined by the Department of Health.
* Johnny H can only accept booking requests from those whose NDIS funds are Self or Plan Managed. If your plan is Agency Managed, please call 1300 053 001 to discuss your options.
* Funding will be calculated based on the final attendance numbers and the individual support required to increase the capacity of the individual making the booking to that required to actively participate in this event.
* We predict and aim for a ratio of 1:3 for community-based activities and 1:5 for those held inside Johnny’s Place, at the rate set out in the current NDIS price guide.
* Final ratios will fall between 1:2 and 1:5.
