It’s a festive and easygoing way to come together, celebrate Australia Day, enjoy good food, and spend quality time with friends. What to Expect
Catch Up with Friends:
Spend time with everyone at Johnny’s Place, catch up, and enjoy a laid-back day hanging out together.
Australia Day BBQ:
Enjoy a classic Aussie BBQ with all the favourites — perfect for a summer celebration.
Australia-Themed Activities:
Test your knowledge with Australia-themed trivia and take part in a friendly bean bag toss competition. These low-intensity activities are all about fun, participation, and a bit of friendly competition.
Summer Vibes:
Soak up the sunshine, enjoy outdoor games, and relax in a fun, casual Australia Day atmosphere.
Snacks & Drinks:
Alongside the BBQ, there’ll be refreshments available to keep you fuelled and refreshed.
Good Company:
A welcoming, social space to relax, laugh, and celebrate together.

BBQ lunch, Australia Day–themed activities (trivia and bean bag toss), and a great Aussie celebration!
Pricing & Inclusions
The Participant price covers the cost of food/drinks as outlined in the activity description and any entry/activity costs.
The NDIS price includes support.
Bookings close one day before the activity unless sold out prior.
Please refer to our Cancellation Policy prior to booking.
Shuttles
Johnny H Shuttles will be available for this event, simply just choose your transport option when booking. Shuttle time and cost will be calculated according to your pick up / drop off point. The cost of the shuttle service is not included in the published predicted NDIS cost. More information about our shuttle service can be found here.
Please note:
* This event is designed for active participants with a mild to moderate intellectual or developmental disability.
* This event will be conducted in compliance with COVID safe practices and any vaccination requirements as outlined by the Department of Health.
* Johnny H can only accept booking requests from those whose NDIS funds are Self or Plan Managed. If your plan is Agency Managed, please call 1300 053 001 to discuss your options.
* Funding will be calculated based on the final attendance numbers and the individual support required to increase the capacity of the individual making the booking to that required to actively participate in this event.
* We predict and aim for a ratio of 1:3 for community-based activities and 1:5 for those held inside Johnny’s Place, at the rate set out in the current NDIS price guide.
* Final ratios will fall between 1:2 and 1:5.
