Join us for a refreshing day out at Currumbin Beach, perfect for relaxation, movement, and coastal fun. Spend the day with friends enjoying sunshine, fresh air, and the beautiful natural scenery. This outing offers the ideal blend of exploration, social time, and chilled-out vibes by the water.
What to Expect
Currumbin Beach Adventure
Let’s head out to Currumbin Beach for a relaxing day by the ocean. We’ll start with a peaceful walk along the sand before exploring Elephant Rock, where you can take in the stunning views from the top — a great spot for photos and a moment to soak it all in.
Lunch by the Coast
After our walk and exploring, we’ll settle in for a chilled BYO lunch on the grass. For anyone keen to mix things up, we can also check out some nearby cafés for a drink or bite to eat. It’s the perfect way to unwind and enjoy the coastal atmosphere.
Fresh Air & Fun
Expect a day filled with sunshine, gentle movement, great company, and a laid-back beach vibe. Whether you’re exploring, relaxing, or café-hopping, it’s a coastal escape made to enjoy.

Pricing & Inclusions
The Participant price covers the cost of food/drinks as outlined in the activity description and any entry/activity costs.
The NDIS price includes support. Return transport is provided for activities from Johnny’s Place .
Bookings close one day before the activity unless sold out prior.

Shuttles
Johnny H Shuttles will be available for this event, simply just choose your transport option when booking. Shuttle time and cost will be calculated according to your pick up / drop off point. The cost of the shuttle service is not included in the published predicted NDIS cost. More information about our shuttle service can be found here.
Please note:
* This event is designed for active participants with a mild to moderate intellectual or developmental disability.
* This event will be conducted in compliance with COVID safe practices and any vaccination requirements as outlined by the Department of Health.
* Johnny H can only accept booking requests from those whose NDIS funds are Self or Plan Managed. If your plan is Agency Managed, please call 1300 053 001 to discuss your options.
* Funding will be calculated based on the final attendance numbers and the individual support required to increase the capacity of the individual making the booking to match the rest of the group.
* We predict and aim for a ratio of 1:3 for community-based activities and for those held inside Johnny’s Place, at the rate set out in the current NDIS price guide.
* Final ratios will fall between 1:2 and 1:5.
