The Lowdown
A short scenic journey into the Byron Bay hinterland lies a tranquil and magical sanctuary. Home of the world’s largest and most beautiful natural crystals, where you can sit in an ancient crystal cave. The Crystal Castle, with its peaceful ambience and exquisite natural splendour, is a place of wonder for everyone. Stand between two of the tallest crystals on earth, the Crystal Guardians or be immersed in the magic of the Enchanted Cave, the largest amethyst cave in the world. Walk in the lush rainforest and wander the botanical Shambhala Gardens, revealing the wonder of sacred statues and the World Peace Stupa, a project blessed by the Dalai Lama.
Then as if that’s not enough we’ll visit the Byron Bay Lighthouse. Built at the turn of the 19th century to protect ships passing along the coast, Cape Byron Lighthouse stands resolute on the most easterly point of the Australian mainland. Operated by resident keepers until 1989, its now automated light is clearly visible from Byron Bay township.
Price includes lunch, snacks and entry tickets, other personal expenses are not included.
Pricing & Inclusions
The Participant price covers the cost of food/drinks as outlined in the activity description and any entry/activity costs.
The NDIS price includes support and return transport from Johnnys Place.
Bookings close one day before the activity unless sold out prior.

Shuttles
Johnny H Shuttles will be available for this event, simply just choose your transport option when booking. Shuttle time and cost will be calculated according to your pick up / drop off point. The cost of the shuttle service is not included in the published predicted NDIS cost. More information about our shuttle service can be found here.
Please note:
* This event is designed for active participants with a mild to moderate intellectual or developmental disability.
* This event will be conducted in compliance with COVID safe practices and any vaccination requirements as outlined by the NSW Department of Health.
* Johnny H can only accept booking requests from those whose NDIS funds are Self or Plan Managed. If your plan is Agency Managed, please call 1300 053 001 to discuss your options.
* Funding will be calculated based on the final attendance numbers and the individual support required to increase the capacity of the individual making the booking to match the rest of the group.
* We predict and aim for a ratio of 1:3 for community-based activities and 1:5 for those held inside Johnny’s Place, at the rate set out in the current NDIS price guide.
* Final ratios will fall between 1:2 and 1:5.
