Join us for a fantastic day out at Sydney Olympic Park! This exciting trip offers a perfect blend of exploration, relaxation, and social interaction. We’ll depart from Johnny’s Place in the morning, enjoy delicious meals together, and take in the sights of the park before heading to an engaging exhibit.
What to Expect
Morning Tea and Exploration: Arrive at Sydney Olympic Park, where we’ll start the day with morning tea and some time to explore the park’s stunning landscapes and attractions, making it a great opportunity for socialising and connecting with others.
Lunch and Exhibit Visit: Enjoy lunch at a local spot, then head into the exhibit for an immersive experience filled with interesting displays and activities that will captivate your curiosity.
Afternoon Relaxation: After the exhibit, we’ll treat ourselves to afternoon refreshments, creating a relaxed atmosphere to unwind and reflect on the day’s adventures.
Return Journey: After a day filled with fun and discovery, we’ll head back to the Centre, concluding a memorable outing.
The price for this event includes morning tea, lunch, and entry to the exhibit, while other personal expenses are not included. Don’t miss out on this wonderful opportunity to explore, learn, and bond with fellow attendees at Sydney Olympic Park!
Pricing & Inclusions
- The Participant price covers the cost of food/drinks as outlined in the activity description and any entry/activity costs.
- The NDIS price includes support and return transport from Johnnys Place.
- Bookings close one day before the activity unless sold out prior.
- Please refer to our Cancellation Policy prior to booking.
Shuttles
Johnny H Nepean Shuttles will be available for this event, simply just choose your transport option when booking. Shuttle time and cost will be calculated according to your pick up / drop off point. The cost of the shuttle service is not included in the published predicted NDIS cost. More information about our shuttle service can be found here.
Please note:
* This event is designed for active participants with a mild to moderate intellectual or developmental disability.
* Johnny H can only accept booking requests from those whose NDIS funds are Self or Plan Managed. If your plan is Agency Managed, please call 1300 053 001 to discuss your options.
* Funding will be calculated based on the final attendance numbers and the individual support required to increase the capacity of the individual making the booking to match the rest of the group.
* We predict and aim for a ratio of 1:3 for community-based activities and for those held inside Johnny’s Place, at the rate set out in the current NDIS price guide.
* Final ratios will fall between 1:2 and 1:5.
