What to Expect
Fishing Fun: Spend the day fishing at The Broadwater, a prime spot for catching a variety of fish. Whether you’re an experienced angler or a beginner, you’ll have the chance to enjoy the tranquil waters and the thrill of the catch. All fishing gear and guidance will be provided, so just bring your enthusiasm!
BBQ Lunch: After a morning of fishing, gather for a mouthwatering BBQ lunch. Savour a selection of grilled meats, fresh salads, and other delicious sides. It’s a great way to refuel and enjoy a hearty meal in the company of fellow fishing enthusiasts.
Small Group Socialising: Benefit from the intimate setting of a small group outing. Enjoy personalised attention, share fishing tips and stories, and build connections with those around you. The relaxed atmosphere of the BBQ lunch is the perfect way to unwind and bond after a day on the water.

Price includes fishing activity and BBQ lunch. Other personal expenses are not included.
Pricing & Inclusions
The Participant price covers the cost of food/drinks as outlined in the activity description and any entry/activity costs.
The NDIS price includes support and return transport from Johnny’s Place to the activity.
Bookings close one day before the activity unless sold out prior.

Shuttles
Johnny H Shuttles will be available for this event, simply just choose your transport option when booking. Shuttle time and cost will be calculated according to your pick up / drop off point. The cost of the shuttle service is not included in the published predicted NDIS cost. More information about our shuttle service can be found here.
Please note:
* This event is designed for active participants with a mild to moderate intellectual or developmental disability.
* This event will be conducted in compliance with COVID safe practices and any vaccination requirements as outlined by the Department of Health.
* Johnny H can only accept booking requests from those whose NDIS funds are Self or Plan Managed. If your plan is Agency Managed, please call 1300 053 001 to discuss your options.
* Funding will be calculated based on the final attendance numbers and the individual support required to increase the capacity of the individual making the booking to match the rest of the group.
* We predict and aim for a ratio of 1:3 for community-based activities and for those held inside Johnny’s Place, at the rate set out in the current NDIS price guide.
* Final ratios will fall between 1:2 and 1:5.
