The Florey Fair is all about coming together to celebrate, connect, and share in a day full of activities and fun. This event offers the perfect chance for families and the local community to enjoy time together, discover local organisations, and learn about all that’s available in the area, with an open invitation for everyone to get involved!

The Lowdown

The Florey Fair is all about coming together to celebrate, connect, and share in a day full of activities and fun. This event offers the perfect chance for families and the local community to enjoy time together, discover local organisations, and learn about all that’s available in the area, with an open invitation for everyone to get involved!

What to Expect

Community Building & Fun: Meet new people, reconnect with friends, and explore the many activities that local groups and organisations have to offer.

Showcase Your Talents: Have a hidden skill? Whether it’s performing, crafting, or leading a workshop, this is your chance to share with others and make a difference in the community.

Great Food & Good Company: Enjoy a lunch of deluxe salad rolls, crafted fresh and included in the day’s activities. A tasty way to refuel while you mix and mingle.

Join us at Florey Fair, where fun meets connection in a celebration of community and togetherness. It’s an experience not to be missed!

Price includes lunch. Other expenses are not included.

Pricing & Inclusions

The Participant price covers the cost of food/drinks as outlined in the activity description and any entry/activity costs.

The NDIS price includes support and return transport from Johnnys Place.

Bookings close one day before the activity unless sold out prior.

Shuttles

Johnny H Shuttles will be available for this event, simply just choose your transport option when booking. Shuttle time and cost will be calculated according to your pick up / drop off point. The cost of the shuttle service is not included in the published predicted NDIS cost. More information about our shuttle service can be found here.

Please note:

* This event is designed for active participants with a mild to moderate intellectual or developmental disability.
* This event will be conducted in compliance with COVID safe practices and any vaccination requirements as outlined by the Department of Health.
* Johnny H can only accept booking requests from those whose NDIS funds are Self or Plan Managed. If your plan is Agency Managed, please call 1300 053 001 to discuss your options.
* Funding will be calculated based on the final attendance numbers and the individual support required to increase the capacity of the individual making the booking to that required to actively participate in this event.
* We predict and aim for a ratio of 1:3 for community-based activities and 1:5 for those held inside Johnny’s Place, at the rate set out in the current NDIS price guide.
* Final ratios will fall between 1:2 and 1:5.
