What to Expect
Calling all nature lovers!
Found in the Sunshine Coast hinterland, the 11 peaks of the Glass House Mountains are perfect for hiking, wandering along, and photographing.
Join us for a full day adverture exploring the walking tracks and waterholes of the mountains as well as visiting Birdworld at Kuranda.
Home to more than 35o birds, Birdworld replicates the natural habitats of almost 60 native and exotic species that roam the unique rainforest habitat we’ve created.
Have your phone handy for photo opportunities and handfeeding if you wish.
The price includes lunch with some snacks throughout the day. Other personal expenses are not included.
Pricing & Inclusions
The Participant price covers the cost of food/drinks as outlined in the activity description and any entry/activity costs.
The NDIS price includes support and return transport from Johnnys Place.
Bookings close one day before the activity unless sold out prior.

Shuttles
Johnny H Shuttles will be available for this event, simply just choose your transport option when booking. Shuttle time and cost will be calculated according to your pick up / drop off point. The cost of the shuttle service is not included in the published predicted NDIS cost. More information about our shuttle service can be found here.
Please note:
* This event is designed for active participants with a mild to moderate intellectual or developmental disability.
* This event will be conducted in compliance with COVID safe practices and any vaccination requirements as outlined by the QLD Department of Health.
* Johnny H can only accept booking requests from those whose NDIS funds are Self or Plan Managed. If your plan is Agency Managed, please call 1300 053 001 to discuss your options.
* Funding will be calculated based on the final attendance numbers. We predict and aim for a ratio of 1:3 for community-based activities and 1:5 for those held inside Johnny’s Place, at the rate set out in the current NDIS price guide. Final ratios will fall between 1:2 and 1:5.
