Enjoy a scenic and relaxing day out with a ferry ride on the Hopo Gold Coast Ferry from the Home of the Arts (HOTA) to Broadwater Parklands. This journey offers picturesque views and a variety of activities at both destinations, making it perfect for a fun and leisurely outing.
What to Expect
Scenic Ferry Ride: Experience the beauty of the Gold Coast waterways on the Hopo Ferry, offering stunning views and a comfortable journey.
Home of the Arts (HOTA): Start your day exploring HOTA, with its vibrant arts scene, exhibitions, and picturesque outdoor spaces.
Broadwater Parklands: Arrive at Broadwater Parklands, a beautiful recreational area with playgrounds, picnic spots, and walking trails, ideal for relaxation and outdoor fun.
Lunch and Socialising: Spend quality time with friends as we enjoy lunch together, making memories and enjoying the shared experience of exploring two fantastic Gold Coast destinations.
Price includes ferry and lunch, other personal expenses are not included.
Pricing & Inclusions
The Participant price covers the cost of food/drinks as outlined in the activity description and any entry/activity costs.
The NDIS price includes support and return transport from Johnnys Place.
Bookings close one day before the activity unless sold out prior.

Shuttles
Johnny H Shuttles will be available for this event, simply just choose your transport option when booking. Shuttle time and cost will be calculated according to your pick up / drop off point. The cost of the shuttle service is not included in the published predicted NDIS cost. More information about our shuttle service can be found here.
Please note:
* This event is designed for active participants with a mild to moderate intellectual or developmental disability.
* This event will be conducted in compliance with COVID safe practices and any vaccination requirements as outlined by the Department of Health.
* Johnny H can only accept booking requests from those whose NDIS funds are Self or Plan Managed. If your plan is Agency Managed, please call 1300 053 001 to discuss your options.
* Funding will be calculated based on the final attendance numbers and the individual support required to increase the capacity of the individual making the booking to match the rest of the group.
* We predict and aim for a ratio of 1:3 for community-based activities and for those held inside Johnny’s Place, at the rate set out in the current NDIS price guide.
* Final ratios will fall between 1:2 and 1:5.
