“Road Trip Spectacular: Bilpin, Hartley, and Kurrajong”
Embark on a delightful adventure with our road trip to Bilpin, Hartley, and Kurrajong! Join us for a day filled with scenic drives, charming villages, and, of course, a quest for the best lollies in town.
Itinerary:
- Bilpin Bliss:
- Start our journey with a scenic drive to Bilpin, renowned for its picturesque orchards.
- Explore local markets for fresh produce and, most importantly, discover unique treats.
- Hartley Heritage:
- Head to historic Hartley for a glimpse into the past. Wander through the heritage-listed village and soak in the colonial charm.
- Visit local stores to uncover sweet delights and perhaps some artisanal chocolates.
- Kurrajong Candy Hunt:
- Our final stop takes us to Kurrajong, a quaint village surrounded by lush countryside.
- Embark on a candy hunt through local sweet shops, discovering confectionary and indulging your sweet tooth.
Event Highlights:
- Scenic Views: Enjoy the breathtaking views of the Blue Mountains and the serene countryside as we travel from one charming location to another.
- Local Delights: Immerse yourself in the local culture by exploring markets, boutique stores, and eateries known for their unique offerings.
- Candy Tasting: Indulge in a variety of candies and chocolates. From classic treats to artisanal surprises, there’s something for every candy connoisseur.

Price includes lunch and snacks, other personal expenses are not included.
Pricing & Inclusions
- The Participant price covers the cost of food/drinks as outlined in the activity description and any entry/activity costs.
- The NDIS price includes support and return transport from Johnnys Place.
- Bookings close one day before the activity unless sold out prior.
- Please refer to our Cancellation Policy prior to booking.
Shuttles
Johnny H Nepean Shuttles will be available for this event, simply just choose your transport option when booking. Shuttle time and cost will be calculated according to your pick up / drop off point. The cost of the shuttle service is not included in the published predicted NDIS cost. More information about our shuttle service can be found here.
Please note:
* This event is designed for active participants with a mild to moderate intellectual or developmental disability.
* This event will be conducted in compliance with COVID safe practices and any vaccination requirements as outlined by the NSW Department of Health.
* Johnny H can only accept booking requests from those whose NDIS funds are Self or Plan Managed. If your plan is Agency Managed, please call 1300 053 001 to discuss your options.
* Funding will be calculated based on the final attendance numbers and the individual support required to increase the capacity of the individual making the booking to match the rest of the group.
* We predict and aim for a ratio of 1:3 for community-based activities and for those held inside Johnny’s Place, at the rate set out in the current NDIS price guide.
* Final ratios will fall between 1:2 and 1:5.
