Join us for a delightful Christmas Mountains and Lolly Shop Tour! Set off for a fun-filled day exploring the charming town of Mount Victoria and the stunning Blue Mountains, indulging in sweet treats and festive decorations along the way.
What to Expect
Lolly Bug Adventure: Begin your day at the Lolly Bug in Mount Victoria, where you’ll enjoy morning tea and have plenty of time to browse and shop for delicious sweets and nostalgic treats.
Lunch in Katoomba: After shopping, we’ll head to Katoomba for lunch on the main street, surrounded by beautiful Christmas decorations, including those at the historic Carrington Hotel.
Chocolate Delights: Experience a sweet escape at the Blue Mountains Chocolate Company, where you can explore the delectable offerings and maybe even pick up a treat or two.
Candy Shop Exploration: Visit the Candy Shop in Leura Mall for even more sugary delights and festive vibes, perfect for getting into the Christmas spirit.
Afternoon Tea in Leura: Enjoy a relaxing afternoon tea in Leura before we make our way back, reflecting on a day filled with festive fun and sweet treats.
Join us for a magical day in the mountains, packed with Christmas cheer, delicious sweets, and great company!
Price includes morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea. Other expenses are not included.
Pricing & Inclusions
- The Participant price covers the cost of food/drinks as outlined in the activity description and any entry/activity costs.
- The NDIS price includes support and return transport from Johnnys Place.
- Bookings close one day before the activity unless sold out prior.
- Please refer to our Cancellation Policy prior to booking.
Shuttles
Johnny H Nepean Shuttles will be available for this event, simply just choose your transport option when booking. Shuttle time and cost will be calculated according to your pick up / drop off point. The cost of the shuttle service is not included in the published predicted NDIS cost. More information about our shuttle service can be found here.
Please note:
* This event is designed for active participants with a mild to moderate intellectual or developmental disability.
* Johnny H can only accept booking requests from those whose NDIS funds are Self or Plan Managed. If your plan is Agency Managed, please call 1300 053 001 to discuss your options.
* Funding will be calculated based on the final attendance numbers and the individual support required to increase the capacity of the individual making the booking to match the rest of the group.
* We predict and aim for a ratio of 1:3 for community-based activities and for those held inside Johnny’s Place, at the rate set out in the current NDIS price guide.
* Final ratios will fall between 1:2 and 1:5.
