What to Expect
Every year, Toowoomba celebrates its reputation as the Garden City with the most spectacular display of spring flowers during the Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers. The longest running floral event of its kind in Australia, dating back to 1950, visitors travel far and wide to see the city’s gardens in full bloom.
The carnival is back in 2023 with a huge 30 days of flowers and local flavour. What does this mean for visitors? Plenty more opportunity to visit, and lots of events to add to your calendar.
Not just for garden enthusiasts, expect a vibrant celebration of music, food and wine, entertainment, parades, outdoor cinema and more. Here’s everything to know about this year’s Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers, beyond the beautiful blooms.
The price includes dinner with some snacks throughout the day. Other personal expenses are not included.
Pricing & Inclusions
The Participant price covers the cost of food/drinks as outlined in the activity description and any entry/activity costs.
The NDIS price includes support and return transport from Johnnys Place.
Bookings close one day before the activity unless sold out prior.

Shuttles
Johnny H Shuttles will be available for this event, simply just choose your transport option when booking. Shuttle time and cost will be calculated according to your pick up / drop off point. The cost of the shuttle service is not included in the published predicted NDIS cost. More information about our shuttle service can be found here.
Please note:
* This event is designed for active participants with a mild to moderate intellectual or developmental disability.
* This event will be conducted in compliance with COVID safe practices and any vaccination requirements as outlined by the QLD Department of Health.
* Johnny H can only accept booking requests from those whose NDIS funds are Self or Plan Managed. If your plan is Agency Managed, please call 1300 053 001 to discuss your options.
* Funding will be calculated based on the final attendance numbers and the individual support required to increase the capacity of the individual making the booking to that required to actively participate in this event.
* We predict and aim for the ratio identified in the event description, which will be invoiced at the rate set out in the current NDIS price guide.
* Final ratios will fall between 1:2 and 1:5.
