Building Workshop at Bunnings: Start the day with an engaging and practical building workshop at Bunnings. Under the guidance of experienced instructors, you’ll learn essential DIY skills and techniques. Whether you’re a seasoned DIY enthusiast or a beginner, this workshop is designed to be informative and enjoyable. Get hands-on experience with tools and materials as you create a project to take home.
Burger Lunch with Friends: After the workshop, join us for a delicious burger lunch. Savour a variety of burgers with your choice of toppings, sides, and drinks while catching up with friends. It’s the perfect setting to relax, share stories, and discuss your workshop experience in a casual, friendly atmosphere.
Skill Development: Enhance your DIY skills and gain practical knowledge that you can use in future projects. The hands-on nature of the workshop ensures that you leave with both new skills and confidence in your abilities.

Pricing & Inclusions
The Participant price covers the cost of food/drinks as outlined in the activity description and any entry/activity costs.
The NDIS price includes support and return transport from Johnnys Place.
Bookings close one day before the activity unless sold out prior.

Shuttles
Johnny H Shuttles will be available for this event, simply just choose your transport option when booking. Shuttle time and cost will be calculated according to your pick up / drop off point. The cost of the shuttle service is not included in the published predicted NDIS cost. More information about our shuttle service can be found here.
Please note:
* This event is designed for active participants with a mild to moderate intellectual or developmental disability.
* This event will be conducted in compliance with COVID safe practices and any vaccination requirements as outlined by the Department of Health.
* Johnny H can only accept booking requests from those whose NDIS funds are Self or Plan Managed. If your plan is Agency Managed, please call 1300 053 001 to discuss your options.
* Funding will be calculated based on the final attendance numbers and the individual support required to increase the capacity of the individual making the booking to match the rest of the group.
* We predict and aim for a ratio of 1:3 for community-based activities and for those held inside Johnny’s Place, at the rate set out in the current NDIS price guide.
* Final ratios will fall between 1:2 and 1:5.
