Social Connection, Health & Wellbeing
Fridays focus on building social confidence, supporting wellbeing and ending the week with positive, engaging group activities.
Morning Focus
The morning session centres on social connection and health and wellbeing. Participants take part in group-based activities that encourage communication, teamwork and positive interaction. Sessions may include light exercise, games or shared tasks designed to promote participation and build confidence in social settings.
Participants also take part in a BBQ lunch, providing opportunities to engage in group meal preparation, practise safe food handling and enjoy a shared social experience in a relaxed and supportive environment.
Afternoon Focus
The afternoon session focuses on craft activities. Participants engage in structured creative projects that support focus, patience and self-expression. Activities are adapted to individual abilities and encourage independence, routine and a sense of achievement.

The Life Skills Day Program is designed for people aged 16 and over with a mild to moderate intellectual or developmental disability. Working within a small group and led by an experienced facilitator, Johnny H Life Skills supports both school leavers and adults to build the capacity and skills needed for everyday living and increased community participation.
Pricing, Meals & Transport
The NDIS price covers the cost of support only for the duration indicated and will be arranged through a Schedule of Supports. The Non-Face-to-Face cost covers work that happens outside the direct support session such as content development, reviews and reporting.
The NDIS pricing indicated is an estimate and will be confirmed once the NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits 2026-27 has been released.
A standard cost of $2.50 applies to all participants to cover the cost of course materials and certain activities, which are not covered by the NDIS.
Participants can bring their own lunch or enjoy a meal prepared in-house for a small fee which covers the cost of morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and drinks, all prepared fresh each day. Lactose and gluten free options are available – you may indicated your dietary needs when booking.
For those who bring their own meals, please be aware that we are a nut-free centre – for the health and safety of all participants, please avoid bringing foods that contain nuts.
Shuttle bus transport is available – please choose your preferred options when booking. Shuttle time and cost will be calculated according to your pick up / drop off point.
Bookings can be made at any time during the term.
We do our best to minimise any changes but plans may be forced to change due to external staffing, school holiday programming and adverse weather.
