The Lowdown
Join us for an exciting weekend trip to Canberra filled with unique experiences, thrilling activities, and plenty of opportunities to connect with friends. Departing from Johnny’s Place on Friday morning, we’ll enjoy a variety of attractions, from a Harry Potter-themed store to a live NRL game, before returning on Sunday evening.

What to Expect
Meet our Canberra friends: we’ll join our local Johnny H friends for an engaging activity and dinner together at Johnny’s Place in Canberra.
Visit to Quizzic Alley: Experience the magic of Quizzic Alley, Australia’s most magical store with a Harry Potter theme. Perfect for fans of the wizarding world, this visit promises a whimsical start to our Saturday.
NRL Raiders vs Panthers Game: Cheer on your favourite team at the NRL Raiders vs. Panthers game on Saturday afternoon. After the game, we’ll head out for dinner to celebrate (or commiserate).
Exploring Telstra Tower and War Memorial: On Sunday, take in the panoramic views from the Telstra Tower and visit the Australian War Memorial, reflecting on the nation’s history before we head back home.
Accommodation: We’ll bed down in Narrabundah, offering comfortable rooms and a buffet breakfast to start your day right.

Pricing & Inclusions
The Participant price covers the cost of all accomodation food/drinks as outlined in the activity description and any entry/activity costs.
The NDIS includes support and return transport from Johnny’s Place.
Bookings close one week before the activity unless sold out prior.

Please note:
* This event is designed for active participants with a mild to moderate intellectual or developmental disability.
* This event will be conducted in compliance with COVID safe practices and any vaccination requirements as outlined by the NSW Department of Health.
* Johnny H can only accept booking requests from those whose NDIS funds are Self or Plan Managed. If your plan is Agency Managed, please call 1300 053 001 to discuss your options.
* Funding will be calculated based on the final attendance numbers and the individual support required to increase the capacity of the individual making the booking to match the rest of the group.
* We predict and aim for a ratio of 1:3 for community-based activities and for those held inside Johnny’s Place, at the rate set out in the current NDIS price guide.
* Final ratios will fall between 1:2 and 1:5.
