We’re hitting the road for an unforgettable Melbourne getaway filled with culture, iconic landmarks, sweet treats and fun with friends. Travel with Johnny H from Canberra and Penrith to explore the best of Victoria – from street art and the zoo to Phillip Island’s famous Nobbies Walk.
Day 1 – Wednesday, 11 March 2026
Our road trip sets off from Penrith onto Canberra to pick up our crew, enjoy lunch together, and continue on to Albury for the first night of our adventure. Keep an eye out for the famous Dog on the Tucker Box along the way!
Day 2 – Thursday, 12 March 2026
After breakfast, we’ll continue our journey to Melbourne. Once we arrive, we’ll enjoy lunch in the city before visiting the vibrant street art laneways and the iconic Brighton Beach Boxes.
Day 3 – Friday, 13 March 2026
A day of wildlife fun awaits at the Melbourne Zoo. Explore the exhibits, meet amazing animals and enjoy lunch in the city before heading back to our accommodation.
Day 4 – Saturday, 14 March 2026
We’ll travel to Phillip Island for a day of sweet treats and natural wonders. Visit the Chocolate Factory and stroll the stunning Nobbies Walk.
Day 5 – Sunday, 15 March 2026
We’ll head back towards Albury with a stop at Queen Victoria Markets to pick up some souvenirs and enjoy lunch together before the final leg of the journey.
Day 6 – Monday, 16 March 2026
Our trip wraps up with a scenic lunch stop in Canberra before everyone is dropped off in their home region.

Pricing & Inclusions
Nepean & Blue Mountains: NDIS Cost = $5,031.72 (includes Non Face to Face Cost = $528.63); Participant Contribution = $1,295.00
Canberra & Monaro: NDIS Cost =$4,686.11 (includes Non Face to Face Cost = $528.63); Participant Contribution = $1,295.00
The Participant price covers the cost of all accomodation food/drinks as outlined in the activity description, any entry/activity costs. Please be aware that the client contribution cost component of this trip is subject to our Cancellation Policy.
The NDIS includes support and return transport from Johnny’s Place in your region. Pricing will vary depending on the region you are travelling from. The NDIS cost component is subject to the standard NDIS cancellation terms.
The Non Face to Face estimate is based on 15 travellers and July 2025 pricing. This price will be adjusted based the final number of travellers.
Bookings close one week before the activity unless sold out prior.
Please note:
* This event is designed for active participants with a mild to moderate intellectual or developmental disability.
* Participation in any activity is subject to an individual risk assessment to ensure safety and suitability. The required level of support, including client-to-worker ratios, will be determined based on the client’s needs and the nature of the activity.
* This event will be conducted in compliance with COVID safe practices and any vaccination requirements as outlined by the NSW Department of Health.
* Johnny H can only accept booking requests from those whose NDIS funds are Self or Plan Managed. If your plan is Agency Managed, please call 1300 053 001 to discuss your options.
* Funding will be calculated based on the final attendance numbers and the individual support required to increase the capacity of the individual making the booking to match the rest of the group.
* We predict and aim for a ratio of 1:3 for community-based activities and for those held inside Johnny’s Place, at the rate set out in the current NDIS price guide.
* Final ratios will fall between 1:2 and 1:5.
