All aboard for a day of family fun, railway adventures, and a special rendezvous with Mini Farm Friends at Yarralumla Play Station! Join us for a social activity that combines the joy of train rides, scenic parks, and an up-close encounter with adorable farm animals at Yarralumla Play Station.
What to Expect:
Train Rides Through Scenic Parks: Embark on a charming train journey through the scenic parks surrounding Yarralumla. Enjoy the rhythmic clatter of wheels, the fresh breeze, and the joyous laughter of fellow passengers as we traverse the tracks.
Mini Farm Friends Experience: Get ready for a heartwarming encounter with the Mini Farm Friends! Enjoy a unique, fun, and educational animal experience in a supportive and caring environment. The farm friends include Ponies, Sheep, Miniature Pigs, Alpacas, Goats, Ducks, Geese, Turkeys, a variety of Chickens and Birds, and the adorable Miniature Galloway Cow. All animals are friendly, locally sourced, and hand-raised with lots of love and affection right here on our property.
Farm Friends Philosophy: At Yarralumla Play Station, our mission is to provide a unique, fun, educational, and engaging animal experience. Our animals are free to roam their enclosures and, if they choose, interact with our visitors. We prioritise the health and well-being of our animals and do not remove baby animals from their mothers. Our Farm Friends are suitable for all occasions and all ages, offering a hands-on experience with expert and passionate animal handlers. Our staff are friendly and happy to answer any questions, adding to the great experience!
Leisurely Train Ride to “Farm Station”: To see our furry friends, you take a leisurely train ride to “Farm Station,” where you disembark and are free to wander around for as long as you like. It’s a perfect opportunity to engage with the animals, ask questions, and create memorable moments with your newfound farm friends.

The price includes train and farm entry and lunch. Other personal expenses are not included.
Pricing & Inclusions
The Participant price covers the cost of food/drinks as outlined in the activity description and any entry/activity costs.
The NDIS price includes support and return transport from Johnnys Place.
Bookings close one day before the activity unless sold out prior.
Please refer to our Cancellation Policy prior to booking.
Shuttles
Johnny H Shuttles will be available for this event, simply just choose your transport option when booking. Shuttle time and cost will be calculated according to your pick up / drop off point. The cost of the shuttle service is not included in the published predicted NDIS cost. More information about our shuttle service can be found here.
Please note:
* This event is designed for active participants with a mild to moderate intellectual or developmental disability.
* This event will be conducted in compliance with COVID safe practices and any vaccination requirements as outlined by the Department of Health.
* Johnny H can only accept booking requests from those whose NDIS funds are Self or Plan Managed. If your plan is Agency Managed, please call 1300 053 001 to discuss your options.
* Funding will be calculated based on the final attendance numbers and the individual support required to increase the capacity of the individual making the booking to that required to actively participate in this event.
* We predict and aim for a ratio of 1:3 for community-based activities and 1:5 for those held inside Johnny’s Place, at the rate set out in the current NDIS price guide.
* Final ratios will fall between 1:2 and 1:5.
